My Book Hub is an independent digital books platform. We publish original children's books - picture books, story books, and curriculum-grounded educational books for ages 1 to 12 - written and illustrated by our creators and read online or offline. Every title is built for this platform specifically; nothing in the store is scraped, reposted, or repackaged from another publisher.
Most children's book platforms are either a static catalogue of a few hundred licensed titles, or a generic "make a story" toy with no real editorial standard behind it. My Book Hub sits in between: a growing, hand-reviewed catalogue of original books, built with a small team and AI-assisted creation tools, but with every single title going through the same human review a traditionally-published picture book would get before it's allowed on the store. Nothing gets published on brief alone.
A book starts from a creator's brief: age group, genre, setting, and - for educational titles - a specific curriculum strand. Text and illustrations are drafted for that brief, then checked page by page for age-appropriate vocabulary and pacing, for illustration consistency (the same characters need to look like themselves from page 1 to page 20), and, for educational titles, for factual accuracy against the referenced UK EYFS / National Curriculum or US Head Start ELOF learning objective. The catalogue spans picture books for toddlers through to longer story books and educational titles for early primary years, across genres including animal stories, adventure, fantasy, and curriculum-grounded non-fiction. New titles are added regularly - see the full, current catalogue in the book store.
A big shelf of our books is free to read, with no account needed - and it stays free. Membership (£9.99 a month, or the local equivalent) opens up everything else: every members' book, read-aloud narration, PDF downloads, and each new story the day it's ready. Anyone can browse the whole library and read the first few pages of any members' book before deciding. Membership can be cancelled any time from your account, and you keep reading until the end of the month you've paid for. Books work online in the browser and offline once opened in the installable app.
My Book Hub is run by a small independent team (published under the shared pen name "My Book Hub Team" rather than individual bylines, since books are a collaborative brief-to-review process rather than a single author's work). We're not a large publishing house - we're building this catalogue title by title, and we read and act on feedback from actual readers and parents.
