Content & Safety Standards

my-book-hub.com

My Book Hub publishes original children's books for readers aged 1 to 12. Because the audience skews young, every book goes through the same review process before it's allowed on the store, and account handling is kept deliberately light-touch. This page sets out both.

How a book gets made

Each book starts from a creator's brief - age group, topic, setting, and (for educational titles) a curriculum reference. Text and illustrations are produced for that brief specifically; nothing on the store is scraped, reposted, or repurposed from another publisher's catalogue.

What gets checked before publishing

A book only moves from draft to published after this review. Books that don't clear it are sent back with change requests or rejected outright - they're never quietly published anyway.

Accounts and data for a young readership

Reading a book on My Book Hub does not require an account. Creating an account (to save progress, buy a book, or make a book) is an adult-controlled action - billing and account management run through the same login as any adult SaaS product, not a child-facing signup flow. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13; account holders are the parent, guardian, or adult creator. See our Privacy Policy for what's actually collected and why.

Reporting a problem

If a book slips through with something that shouldn't be there, or a page doesn't render correctly, tell us and we'll review it. We read every message and can unpublish or fix a book quickly if needed.
