The sunny yellow school bus stops. The children hop off with happy waves. Inside, the backpacks wiggle and wake up for fun.
Zip is a bouncy blue backpack. He giggles and bounces on the soft seat. Hee hee, school is done, he laughs out loud.
Zip wants to play and giggle all around the bus. He looks for a friend to bounce with him. The bus feels quiet and still.
Scribble is a bright yellow crayon. He rolls out and starts to draw. Happy suns and smiling stars fill the floor with bright color.
Zip bounces over to see the pretty pictures. Oh no, his big bounce smudges Scribble's pretty stars. Scribble looks sad and stops drawing now.
Zip says sorry with a soft little giggle. He wants to help fix the star pictures. Scribble thinks of a fun new plan.
Scribble draws a big bounce path for Zip. Zip giggles and hops along the yellow lines. Together they make a happy game.
