Dani was a small bright-eyed green sea turtle with blue eyes who lived on a sparkling shallow reef. Soft morning light danced on the clear water as Dad, a gentle large sea turtle, floated beside her. Dani stretched her little flippers and smiled. She loved quiet mornings when the sea felt bright and full of small wonders.
“Today we can collect shiny shells,” said Dad in a warm voice. “And we can ride the soft morning currents too.” Dani clapped her flippers with joy. She wanted to find the shiniest shell on the whole reef. The two turtles swam slowly over the colorful coral, looking for a place to begin their adventure.
