by My Book Hub Team
Luna the puffin and her seal friend Mossy race to build a strong sandcastle before the tide comes in.
Genre: animal stories
For ages 3-6
A peek inside
Luna the puffin stood on the soft beach sand. She was a fluffy young puffin with a bright orange beak. Gentle blue waves rolled in and out nearby. Luna loved to hop and flap her little wings. She picked up smooth shells and lined them up. The sun felt warm on her feathers today.
Her seal neighbor slid over the wet sand. Mossy was a round, friendly grey seal pup. “Hello Luna!” said Mossy with a big smile. “The tide is coming soon. Let’s build a sandcastle before the waves wash everything away!” Luna clapped her wings. “Yes! A big safe castle!”
