A peek inside
Tinker the cheerful fox tugged on his green workshop apron and beamed. Today the recycling workshop was full of mixed objects waiting to be sorted. "Wood, metal, plastic, and glass," he said. "Each material has special properties that help us know what it is!" He rolled up his sleeves. The great sort was about to begin.
Tinker picked up a smooth wooden spoon and a little wooden block. "Wood comes from trees," he explained with a bright smile. Wood feels warm and light in your hands. It is hard but you can cut or carve it into new shapes. He sniffed the spoon. "It even smells a little like the forest!"
